Recycling: It Actually Does Work

I live in San Francisco where everyone (including myself) is hung up with recycling. But to be honest, despite the effort, I had no idea that me taking the extra time to find a blue bin actually made a notable impact in reducing waste. Turns out it really does! NPR talks to a glass recycling plant and a bottle factory to expose the truth and the technology that turns used glass into new bottles. So guys, glass bottles…you should recycle them.
