The Onion tears into pork (and The Food Network)

The Onion doesn’t just excel at fake-but-easily-mistaken-for-truth news headlines — their recent slate of TV parodies has included some of the darkest comedy I’ve seen in a long time, offline or on.

Porkin’ Across America mocks Guy Fieri-esque food road shows while also, over the course of several episodes, depicting the disintegration of a man’s life. The blacker things get, the funnier it is — and it gets really, really funny.
